Brandon's been wanting a dog for a long time. He has mentioned so many different kinds of dogs that I really didn't know what kind we would end up with or when. I knew we would eventually end up with one or more. He kept putting off getting a dog because we are both very busy. He always said that when he gets a dog he wants to have the time to train the dog very well and spend time with it. So a couple weeks ago I was surprised with a picture sent to my phone of a cute little puppy hiding behind the tire of my car. I was on a trip for work and Brandon hadn't mentioned that he was thinking of picking one up. He had made a quick trip down to Utah to pick up some furniture that was his mom's, visit his grandparents, and see a few friends. I guess he saw the dog advertised on KSL and couldn't resist. Jack is a blue heeler. Heeler's are a popular breed of cattle dogs that are really smart and can run forever. I didn't grow up with animals so this is a new adventure for me. I feel a little clueless with the training of a new puppy. Luckily, Brandon knows what he's doing. It has been strange getting use to having to take a dog out to do his "business." Brandon has even been setting an alarm at night to take the dog out. We also have to watch him very closely in the house because he loves to chew on anything! Brandon has been taking Jack out when he works; his customers have all loved playing with Jack and tell Brandon not to come back next time unless he has Jack with him.
Jack seems to be very loyal and energetic. So please welcome the new addition to our family, Jack!
