So we packed up and flew to Salt Lake City. One of my dearest friends, Pennie Turner, had a home in Park City. She was at their other home in WA but offered for us to stay in their home. We dropped our stuff off. I took Broden to urgent care in Park City and Brandon went to test.
The receptionist had a hard time believing that I had a sick baby because Broden was flirting with her. Aren't babies suppose to dislike strangers? Not Broden. Even while sick, he was smiling and playing coy with the various people walking in and out.
The doctor checked him over and asked if Broden has asthma. Basically, his pulse oximetry was low and respiratory rate was high. I guess this means asthma, croup or pneumonia. They gave him a breathing treatment and a prescription for an anti-biotic and steroid. Poor little guy.
We picked Brandon up, went and picked up prescriptions and went back to Pennie's. Broden slept with us. He is not a snuggler at all but he must of been sick because he was snuggled up with me off and on all night. At one point he had his head on top of my face. I took a picture as proof that he was actually snuggling.
We flew back to Boise the next day. It was a very quick trip. It could have been a lot of fun but it ended up feeling more stressful and exhausting than fun.
This weekend everyone else was sick. Apart from the laundry, grocery shopping, repacking etc we really didn't do much but try to recover.
We did go out to Eagle Island with Myca, Nena, Mom and the kids on Thursday afternoon. It was fun but hot. The kids had a great time though.
Brandon flew to CA on Thursday night and arrived back in Boise Friday night just as my dad was getting in. We had a delicious lasagna dinner all together.
