Ryan's Motorcycle

A few months back Ryan decided that he wanted to get a motorcycle. He signed up to take the class at the DMV. He looked at a lot of different style of bikes. He decided to get a Triump Speed Triple. Brand new these bikes run between $10,000 and $11,000. At the very mention of the word motorcycle Brandon gets excited. As soon as Ryan showed any interested, Brandon was looking around online and even visiting bike shops. Brandon found a 2006 Speed Triple that was salvaged for $3,000. This was a huge savings in comparison to a new bike. So Brandon picked up the bike for Ryan and started fixing it up. Brandon says it was an "easy" fix. I don't think fixing bikes or cars is easy. He says that it's common sense. I don't think I believe him. When Brandon picked up the bike, the handle bars were bent, mirrors were destroyed, front fender, head lights, gauges were missing, ignition switch was crushed and the bike wasn't running.

In order to save Ryan a little money and for the opportunity to have an "epic" trip, Brandon offered to ride Ryan's bike to Boise from Orange County. Brandon had another bike he was working on that also needed to go to Boise. Unfortunately timing was bad to get a friend to ride with him so he did the trip alone. He was going to leave Friday night (Halloween) and ride the whole way. Luckily he decided last minute to stay in Las Vegas at Samantha and Kyle's. Thanks Sam! And thank you Cali for getting me Sam's home number. He finished the trip on Saturday. It poured rain on him from Twin Falls, Id all the way to Boise. Other than that I think he thought it was a really pretty ride.

Motorcycles scare me way too much. Maybe its a good thing the thing doesn't start. Have you heard the horror stories? :>

Ya, Anna- brandon bought the bike knowing it didn't start but quickly got it up and running. It runs like a champ and has more power than most compact cars. He loves bikes and has been down before so he knows the risks. We have a good time together on his personal bike
