I was called out Sunday on a two day trip. All our destinations were in the desert. There were wind and turbulence advisories all over. We went to Palm Springs, Yuma, and Imperial. The wind and turbulence was so bad going into Palm Springs that the passengers were screaming. At one point we were descending 6000 feet per minute. In Imperial we had to land on the very short runway which until Sunday night I have never had to use. Oh what fun!
Monday I did get to see several work friends that I haven't seen in awhile. Don Reilly was my simulator partner for upgrade. Jon Ashment sat next to me in upgrade. Keith Eyler I flew with a number of times as an FO. Diana Coppola is a flight attendant that I did a four day trip with and had a blast with. I didn't get much done while I was sitting ready reserve but it was great catching up with friends.

Yikes! That doesn't sound good!
First of all, that does sound scary! Were you scared since you were the one flying the plane??
Second of all, Yuma??? I leave and you go back to Yuma??? Sad I missed you!
Exactly why I could never be a pilot! Too scary! I'm sure everyone was glad to be on the ground again.
Yea for Boise!!
I just finished catching up on your blog alysha. Your hair is super cute, your life sounds busy and good. And I am so SAD that you are moving to Boise!! You were my only California hope. Can I move with you?!
