The transmission in my car is toast. They said it would be $3,000 to fix. I don't even think the car is worth $4,000. We are looking into other options. I think once we get it fixed we will sell the car. That will be a bitter sweet day for me. It is the first car I have ever owned. I worked so hard to pay it off. It is really fun to drive.
I went running on my over night in San Luis Obispo. As I was looking to my right to see if the road led down to the beach, I stepped into a pothole and twisted my ankle. I heard a loud pop. I'm sure it looked pretty funny when I was sprawled out on the side of the road wondering how I was going to make it back to the hotel. I was able to wabble back. My ankle is still swollen.
I stayed at my sister-in-law's house in Aliso Viejo. My niece, Pyper, was still up waiting for me. She talked my ear off. She asked me a million questions about my sprained ankle. Many of the same questions were asked multiple times with the same answers. I even tried to ask her about subjects I thought she would find more interesting like her birthday and preschool. She would answer my question and go right back to my sprained ankle. Pretty funny. It was so fun to see the Nelson's. I wish I could see them more often.
