The only thing that I tried to get when bidding for my work schedule was the day off for my cousin Mike's wedding and a few days off for my family reunion. I didn't get either of them. I requested vacation for both days and was denied. I requested user time and vacation and was denied. I posted part of the trip to see if anyone could help me out. That didn't work either. So I missed the wedding and the reception. What a bummer. I was disappointed that I didn't get to see Doug and Connie on their short stint home from Spain. The only redeeming factor was that Justin and Angelique stayed the night on their way through Boise to Utah. It was fun spending time with them and the kids.
The one nice part about my schedule this month is that I ended up getting this whole week off. It was great timing because Mandi and the girls came into town on Monday. I usually miss out when people come to town. I've been able to spend most of the week with Mandi, Nena, Myca, Corbin, and the kids. Corbin just left yesterday to go back to Moses Lake. Last night was girls night including dinner at Solid and a movie.
