Pyper Family Reunion in Park City

We had our Pyper family reunion in Park City, UT on June 16th-20th. We had decided last year to return to Park City this year as a tribute to Kemy.

Brandon and I flew in on Wednesday afternoon. The flight was completely booked and we almost didn't make it on. When we arrived into Salt Lake City Melissa picked us up. The three of us went to Costco and Wal-mart to pick-up all the food for the extravaganza. It took a couple hours and the car was completely packed. We didn't think we would be able to fit Dennis in the car when we picked him up. Throughout the night each of the family members arrived. We ate, talked, and went hot tubbing.

It was a very full couple of days. The girls were all treated to massages. A guy did mine. He asked what my husband would think of me getting a massage from a man. I thought that was a funny question considering I wasn't wearing a ring and had not mentioned a husband. All the guys went golfing. We went for a walk around The Canyons. The kids went horseback riding one morning and the adults the next morning. We played tennis, took the kids to the pool, and relaxed in the hot tub. Our friend Brittany Visser even came by out with us Thursday evening. We also had the Talbot family reunion in Logan on Friday. The Butts family reunion was on Saturday. Time blew right by.

These are pictures from the Talbot reunion in Logan. Brandon's Grandma Pyper is a Talbot. None of us (except Dennis) really knew anyone but it meant a lot to Grandma that we went.

These are from horseback riding at Deer Valley. We had a great time but I think the ride last year was more interesting.

The Butts Family Reunion

Different members of the family presented their different talents including juggling, a puppet show to music, singing, electric guitar, and gymnastics.
