Thursday Brandon took them downtown to show them around. He drove them towards Kuna to show them what is out that direction. They made salmon for dinner (the salmon that we caught from Alaska.) Brandon and Dennis watched a movie. Friday they went to Garden Valley and Crouch just to check the area out. In Crouch, they stopped by a few country gift stores. On the way back to Boise they stopped in Horseshoe Bend at a little greasy spoon diner for lunch.
Friday night we went to Westside Drive-in. It was featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives on Food Network. The food was delicious. The weather was perfect for dining outside. It was such an enjoyable time that we shut the place down. The employees were cleaning up around us and we eventually got the cue to leave.
Saturday Myca, Donna, and I went walking while the guys went to help Jared's friend move. We all went to eat in downtown at the Blue Sky Bagel. They guys went shooting. The women and children went to the mall. We went to browse. I wanted to show them a dining room table that I really like. While we were there we had time to spare and decided to check out the dress departments of Macy's and Dillards to see if they had anything suitable for a wedding. Donna tried some dresses on. She has a cute figure so the dresses all looked nice on her. We found one that looked really beautiful on her. She bought it. She is really pressed for time in planning the wedding because they are planning on getting married at the end of November. Now she at least has a dress, that way if she finds something she likes better in CA she can return this one, but it takes the pressure off a little. We dropped Donna off at the airport and the guys dropped Dennis off.
It was great having them in town. It was really fun having company in our new home. Dennis and Donna, thanks for making the trip!
