Days Off

My days off always fly by! It's difficult to balance what I need to get done with down time. My eyebrows were so bad that my mom noticed some plucking that needed to be done from across the room. It had also been several months since I had my hair done. I had a few people tell me that it looked like I had ombré hair. So I broke down and had both my eyebrows and hair done during my few days home. It's always fun to catch up with Jamie and September.

Corbin and Kelsie came into town for Demry's blessing. Friday night we invited all my siblings over (except Collin who's in Colorado Springs) to a pesto pasta dinner. I love talking and eating with my family. Later that night my cousin Kacey arrived with her entourage. She was putting on a dance competition in Boise. We were able to talk for a few minutes before bed.

Brandon was off Saturday. He was out in the garage most of the day. He had to do something to his truck. Then he changed the chain and sprockets on my cousin, Brandon's, bike. He did something to his own dirt bike. Then he helped Corbin with his car. It's very difficult to keep Broden inside once he figures out that his dad is outside. He really thinks he needs to help. Myca and I went by Kacey's competition. We wasted an hour and a half trying to find it but eventually we made it. To close out the weekend we had pizza and watched Skyfall. The little guy was having a hard time falling asleep. We brought him back downstairs just as we were starting the movie. I'm a little concerned with how content he seemed to sit and watch the movie on his dad's lap.
