My new fascination is with a product called Vibram Fivefingers. Brandon and I were in an outdoor/adventure store the other day. We saw a guy trying these on and ease dropped on the conversation he was having with the sales clerk. The reason I am so fascinated is because a few months back I heard a story about an Indian tribe from Mexico that just straps on rubber soles and can run for miles. A track coach from Michigan started having his students run with shoes that had the bare minimum in terms of support. His track stars started having fewer injuries. What does this have to do with Vibram? Well Vibram Fivefingers are basically the equivalent of running barefoot. I guess there is a new trend in the running world that believes running barefoot is better for you than running with fancy shoes. Needless to say I really want to try them.
When I arrived home today from work Brandon told me to close my eyes. When I opened them a pair of Vibram Sprints were right in front of me. I was so excited! I tried them on immediately. I'm not exactly sure if I have the right fit but I can't wait to give them a try! I have such a thoughtful husband!

I have had my eye on these for awhile. I have read some studies saying how good they are for you. Not that I can actually run, but I want to try. I am so happy for you. What a thoughtful husband you have.
Me and the girl's at work right now were fascinated with your shoe picture. I have never heard/seen of such things. But from what you say... it sounds cool and I think I will look into too! You will need to write a post once you have tried them and tell us all.

I can picture Brandons curly hair getting in the way of those straps. He will have to shave to use those. ;)
