American Idol

Has anyone been watching American Idol? The Salt Lake City auditions were particularly interesting to me. I don't know if anyone will remember this...maybe Kim will, but either my first or second year at BYU I met David Osmond. I think we met at a dance at UVSC. I probably asked him to dance. He seemed really fun and I thought he was cute. I kind of had a little crush on him. At BYU you have to create your own luck because if you meet someone you think is cute you probably won't run into them ever again. So I toyed with the idea or going to the Juice and Java (I think that is what it was called) where he sometimes played. I ended up just getting his number from the BYU directory. I was really nervous but I gave him a call. I think I asked if he wanted to go and get lunch or something. He totally blew me off. I think his excuse was about going home that weekend to celebrate a siblings birthday (doesn't your family live in Prove?) Oh well I tried...and was totally rejected.

It is so funny to be able to see someone that you asked out ten years later. I didn't get a good look at her but his wife looked really cute. Plus on American Idol they said he has MS...I didn't know that. Anyway I just thought it was weird and random to see him. I had to laugh at myself for asking him out and getting rejected! This picture is really big and I don't know how to get it smaller. Oh well.

That is hilarious. I always wonder when am I finally going to see somebody I know on that show? You know? Well that's funny. I was REALLY surprised he didn't make it past hollywood.

Oh and p.s. what was he thinking saying no to a girl like you??

Too funny!

Oh man. I just saw Sammy's post. I am not current and I didn't know he didn't make it past Hollywood :) oops

I agree. What is he doing turning down a cute girl like you??

Yes, I totally remembered him as soon as I saw him on the show. He was Justin Pinegar's cousin, right?! He definitely missed out on you. It is sad that he has MS, though.

Isn't it crazy that we truly live in a "small world"? There are two sisters on "The Biggest Loser" show that I graduated with. Small world.
