Corbin's Trip to California

This weekend Corbin came into town to visit. He arrived at around 9:30 on Thursday night LAX. We picked him up and Brandon, Corbin and I drove straight to my in-law's house. Brandon and Corbin were committed to fixing Corbin's motorcycle that night. At midnight I went to bed. They stayed up and worked on the bike until 3:00 am. Then we loaded the bike into Brandon's truck and headed home. We didn't get to bed until after 4:00 am.
Notice how hard Corbin is working here!

The next morning I went to watch my nieces until around 1:00pm; then Corbin and I exercised. He was sore all weekend from the workout. Then we went to the beach at Corona Del Mar. It was a beautiful day. We just laid on the beach and talked. Then we went to meet up with Brandon at his work. We stopped by a few bike shops on the way home so Corbin could look at some jackets and helmets. Corbin found to his astonishment that all the helmets made him look like a bobble head...they all looked big compared to his body. He finally found one that he liked. When we got back to the house the boys finished off some stuff on the bike. Then we watched a movie.

Saturday was mostly spent watching Corbin practice riding his bike in the church parking lot next to our house. Oh ya, and Brandon got his hair cut too. (it was super long) Brandon and Corbin also spent a lot of time trying to arrange insurance and transfer permit for the motorcycle. Brandon and I jumped on Brandon's bike, Corbin jumped on his bike and we all went for a ride.
That night we went to dinner with Brandon's parents, Pat and Mindy, and my nieces to celebrate my birthday. We went to the Italian place by our house we really like called Roma D' Italia. Then we all went for ice cream at Cold Stone. Later, we went back to our place and watched a movie.

Corbin left first thing Sunday morning. I was sad that he had to go but really happy that he was able to come. Corbin will be coming back in a few weeks and he and Brandon will be riding a couple motorcycles back to Utah.

Oh my. Looks like fun....except you sitting on Corbins bike with him...that makes me nervous!!!! Well, you can tell Brandon he's not done yet, b/c I am sure the day will come that Collin will get one (much to my dismay). Anyway, I'm glad you had a decent birthday, it's too bad they aren't very exciting when we get older... although YOUR'S was supposed to be!!!! We'll miss ya this weekend....let us know if you can still sneek in....
