Brandon and I went to church Sunday morning. We are on the early schedule so we are finished by noon. It was a beautiful day. We decided to go walk around Balboa Island. We parked in a neighborhood close to the beach. We walked around a few of the neighborhoods and then walked down by the beach. I was surprised by how many homes were for sale. It is a very expensive area...I just didn't expect it there. There were also a lot of places for rent. It was fun to see the homes in that area.

When we returned from Balboa we went to Rob and Heather Cowdell's house. They are some friends of ours in the ward. Rob had a bit of an emergency with his sprinkler system so Brandon went to help him. I chatted with Heather. Brandon and Rob were able to finish up the sprinklers after around three hours.
We were invited at church to go to the Lehnholf's home for cake around 6:00 pm. We rushed home from Cowdell's so Brandon could shower and then went to eat cake. Kent is a professor at Chapman University. He and Liz have two twin boys that are 6 years old. Their boys are so smart. Jacob read the Scriptures to me. I guess Nathan read Dr Seuss to Brandon. The cake was delicious and the company was great. We had a really nice time.
To end off a very enjoyable Sunday we watched Run Fat Boy Run. It was so fun to be able to have such good weather and good company.
