There was a family that was in the same ward as Brandon growing up. Kent and Melody moved to Boise about 15 years ago. They have kids around the age of the kids in Brandon's family. Kent is Hawaiian and Melody came from a big Italian family.
Last night they took Brandon and I to dinner at Cheesecake Factory. We also went and had "potato ice cream" from Westside Drive-in. We met for dinner at 7. We didn't leave until 10:15pm.
We had such a great time getting to know them. They were so much fun. We really look forward to spending more time with them. They already invited us to a big luau that they are throwing for some kids that are graduating. They are going to cook up a pig and everything!
