Time at home

I finally had five days off in a row this Monday through Friday. It was nice to be home with my husband. I will admit that I still feel like an out of place visitor. Because I'm not home much, when I do get home I don't totally know what to do with myself. I do the usual work out, laundry, etc but beyond that I don't know. We don't have the Internet or cable hooked up. Our yard and house could use some work but we have no money. I don't have friends beyond my family. I don't even know anyone in our ward. Since I started working for Skywest I feel like I have a hard time getting settled anywhere and feeling like I'm part of the community. I find that a good portion of my days off were spent playing with Tayden and Boston, my nephews.

Thursday was a fantastic day though. My cousin, Kim, came over with her daughter Elsie. They checked out my house and then we sat and talked. Elsie entertained us by showing her sweet stunts on our bean bag. Then we headed over to Myca's house. The three of us talked and Elsie played with the boys. I love Kim and it was so fun hanging out with her. I wish all my cousins lived in town. That night Brandon and I joined Myca and Jared at PF Changs for dinner. It was very last minute but I'm so glad we went. It was fun to just talk and laugh. Jared wanted to get Myca out of the house before going into labor the next day.

Friday Brandon and I spent time with Tayden and Boston while Jared and Myca were at the hospital. I thought I might actually be around for the delivery. That would have been cool but I had to go back to LAX. Kaias Jay Frogley was born on Friday 7.6lbs and 20in. I'm excited to meet him.
