Whispering

I loved it when people think they are whispering something about you, but really you hear the whole thing. When I walked down the aisle to my seat on the flight to LAX on Friday I heard this chick say "See I told you she's a pilot." Then she said "yes she is because she has the stripes." I should have just turned back and ended their debate.

I ended up talking that whole flight with the guy sitting next to me. He and several other men were heading down to So Cal to a Scottish American Athletic Association competition. They participate in highland games. Apparently they mostly just throw heavy stuff. They wear kilts and everything. How interesting!
