A Christmas Miracle!

On the Tuesday before Christmas while I was in Redmond, Or Brandon called me. He told me that Ryan and Nena had surprised us and sent us a Christmas gift. He sounded really excited. Last year Ryan and Nena sent us a calender with all of the important dates for our family. It had different pictures of family members for each month. Nena had sent me a text a few days earlier asking about any important dates. When Brandon called to tell me we got a gift from them I was thinking it was probably the calender and I was really excited.

When I made it home from that trip Tuesday night Brandon asked if I wanted to see what they got us. I told him that we should wait until Christmas. He kept asking me...I think he knew how excited I would be. It was already close to 1:00am so we went to bed.

The next morning he asked me again. I told him we should wait. Then he asked what I thought it was. It told him that I thought it was a calendar. He told me that it wasn't and convinced me to see the gift. I was not prepared for the amount of shock I was about to have. He pulled out the exact Dyson Slim we had been looking at getting for our Christmas gift to each other. I started crying. I couldn't believe it. First of all I didn't know that they knew that we even needed a vacuum or even that they knew we wanted that specific one. Secondly that was such an amazingly generous gift. It was truly overwhelming!

I went to work out after that. As I jumped rope I was still in tears. I just couldn't believe how thoughtful and generous that was. Later when I called to talk to Ryan he didn't answer. I left a message and started crying again. What a fantastic gift. I was so thrilled.

Christmas night after I was done working and after spending the most the evening at Dennis and Kemy Pyper's house we made it home really late. We pulled out the vacuum, put it together, and started vacuuming. I'm sure our neighbors hated us because it was one in the morning. I couldn't help it I was so excited.

Oh Lysh! I love you guys so much! It was so funny I called Brandon and asked if a package had come to you guys yet... He said it hadn't. We checked and the shipping info said that it had been delivered and so I called Brandon back and told him he need to find the package. He was like how big is it, I told him big, So he calls me back and says it was at your Managers place and then he's like "For Real? is this what's in this box?" I'm like your going to have to open it and find out! He said "Oh snap... Lysha is going to crap a Brick!"
So Funny! Merry Christmas We love you Guys!-n

Uh,yeah you better be excited about that vacuum! I have had my sights set on a Dyson for awhile, but alas, Dyson and I aren't meant to be. Dyson eludes me every time.

No seriously, that's a way cool gift. How very generous.

I hope you had a Merry Christmas!
