Back in August when Casey Walters was getting married my dad told me that Kelli had moved to Orange County. I asked my dad to please find out where she lived and to get her phone number. I asked him on a number of occasions if he got the info. Of course he kept forgetting.
A few weeks ago Kelli called me. It was so fun catching up. She lives in Ladera Ranch which is only about 25 minutes away. I told her that after I finished up with my proficiency check that I really wanted to come see her house.
Well today was the day. I went this afternoon. It was so nice to hang out and talk. Her house is beautiful. Her kids are darling (ages 5, 3, around 6 months). I remember when I was a kid and company would come over. I always wanted to show them everything I could do. That is exactly what they were doing. They showed me their trampoline skills, scooter skills, reading skills, drawing skills, etc. It was so cute. I am always excited to hear about friends moving to Orange County. It was a lot of fun getting together.
On my way home I was stopped at a stop light. This guy next to me motioned for me to roll down my window. I did and the guy asked where the nearest LA Fitness was located. I told him that I was just visiting Ladera Ranch and didn't know. He told me "that's okay your beautiful any how." Or something like that. Again I blushed. I said thank you and rolled up the window. What's with guys in California? He was well older than me again. How uncomfortable. I wonder if that really works for anyone?

When are you going to realize that this will happen many times in your life? You may as well get used to it, or get yourself a badge :) You're too cute for your own good.
