In November Brandon told me that he really wanted to make something for each of his brothers-in-law for Christmas. He decided to make each of them a picture frame. He wanted each picture frame to reflect a hobby or interest of each brother. We thought about it for a long time.
We decided that for Ryan we needed to do something with Jimi Hendrix. Brandon made the frame out of poplar and burned a picture of Jimi along with some of the lyrics from All Along The Watchtower and Voodoo Child.
We asked Amanda to get one of Collin's favorite paragraphs from the book that he has written, The House of Gray. Brandon made the frame out of stain-grade pine and laser-burned the paragraphs in small print all along each side of the frame.
Corbin wrote a poem that was recently made into lyrics for a song. It was produced by the same guy that works with The Killers. One of his old mission buddies did the music and performed it. We used these lyrics to decorate Corbin's knotty-pine frame.
Both Jared and Brandon have a love of guns. It was only appropriate for Jared's frame to have rows and rows of old .45 casings set in a poplar frame.
Billy loves the outdoors and loves to hike. Brandon put several quotes from John Muir on the frame along with a picture of Yosemite. (Redwood frame)
Justin's favorite song is Rhymes and Reasons by John Denver. Brandon made the frame using douglas fir and laser-burned the verses of the song along the sides.
Brandon did a picture frame for Patrick for his birthday but I don't have a picture of that one, but I have a few photos of it being made.

We had glass but and Brandon set the panes in each frame before we mailed them out. All the frames turned out well and made it to each brother without damage.
