Date Night-Eclipse

Brandon and Jared planned an awesome date night on July 1st. Jared wanted to surprise Myca so he found out my schedule for the week and arranged a babysitter. It was really funny to hear the boys talk about the plans for our date. They knew that Myca and I really wanted to see Eclipse. They are such good sports. They even talked about Jared dressing up as Edward and Brandon finding a wolf costume. That would have been hysterical. We went to an early showing around 4pm. They guys bought the tickets earlier that day. We picked up some snacks before the show and arrived early enough to have our choice of seats. The movie was fantastic. Afterwards we went to Famous Dave's for dinner. I had to chuckle when our husbands ordered a 4-6 person family style meal knowing that Myca and I aren't huge meat eaters. I have to hand it to them though, we didn't go home with much, just some chicken and a few side dish items. Myca and I ordered our side salad exactly the same way which also made me smile. We have a tendency to say the same thing at the same time. You would think after living in different locations for around 8 years that we wouldn't do that so much but we do.
I'm so grateful to live by my sister. It is so much fun. Now if I could only be home a little more often! Myca just had a baby and it doesn't even look like it. Isn't she beautiful?!

I also feel tremendously blessed that Brandon and Jared are such good friends. We always have a good time together whether we are going out or just hanging around.
