Family Search Indexing

Mindy found someone to watch my nieces from her ward. So yesterday I had the day off and decided to go to the temple. It was very peaceful. Then I decided to get online and sign up as a volunteer for familysearchindexing.org. I don't know how many of you have heard of it. I just found out about it a few months back. Basically someone goes and takes pictures of various records (census data, birth and death certificates, etc). Then on family search indexing all those records are typed into the database by the volunteers. This is suppose to increase access to information for family history. Since I haven't done much with family history I felt like this would be a good way to contribute. I just think it is such a clever idea. This allows people to do family history without having to fly across the country or the world to find the information they need. Man the prophet and apostles really know what they are doing!

On an unrelated topic, I made homemade rolls today. I made some the other day and they were doughy in the middle...just didn't get it right. Today I think they turned out well. So look at me trying to be domestic. I am learning some things little by little. I still think it would be nice if my mom just lived next to me so she could teach me everything she knows. Let's be honest, I need all the help I can get!
