- Saturday the 18th we picked up a lot of random things that we have needed for a while: a stool to sit at the computer, snapware for our flour and sugar, and a new camera (just like my old one that was lost).
- Had to do a double round trip to Las Vegas from Palm Springs on Sunday. Monday I was suppose to sit ready reserve in LAX (that means I have twenty minutes to be at the airplane if they call me). I didn't want to put on my uniform and sit around the airport. I decided to stay out in my car in the employee parking lot. There were two hitches to that plan. 1. When I had to go to the bathroom really bad I had no idea where to go. I ended up pulling up at the Radisson hotel into the valet area and telling the guy I needed to run in and ask a question. I ran to the bathroom! 2. It was a really hot day and my car is black leather. I was melting! Oh the lengths I go to avoiding my uniform and the airport.
- Went on a motorcycle ride Monday night. It was the perfect temperature...not too hot or too cold. I could smell the blossoms in one neighborhood so strongly. It was so beautiful.
- Tuesday night Brother Zimmerman (1st counselor in the bishopric in our ward) stopped by to extend a calling to me. He stayed and talked with us from 9:30 until almost 11:00 pm. He is a really cool guy.
- Picked up a trip Thursday night in Palm Springs to make a little extra cash. Plus they don't call me to work much so it is nice to find extra flying on my days off.
