We started to look for houses online to see what was out there. We felt like purchasing some kind of real estate before the end of November would make good financial sense. We would qualify for the tax credit. Also the interest rates are great right now. I'm not convinced they will be low in the near future. With the amount of money the government has printed I'm convinced there will be inflation and high interest rates. We put together a long list homes we wanted to see in Boise.
It was also Brandon's birthday weekend so we thought it would be fun to get out of town.
We arrived Wednesday night. Ryan and his kids and my mom were there too. Corbin came in Thursday and my dad came in Friday. I love to be able to see my family.
Thursday Myca, Mom, and I went to get the kids some clothes for school. We ended up having to make several trips to the store in order to get the right fit in jeans for the boys. Myca, Mom, Ryan, and I took all the kids to see "UP" at the theater. Brandon and I drove around and looked at several houses on the outside. We removed some from our list. I also played a mean game of freeze tag with the kids.
Friday Brandon and I went out with our realtor Pat. We saw so many houses. It was almost overwhelming. I actually wasn't very interested in many of them. There was one in particular that I thought was a really good value. It had a great size yard. I liked the house a lot. It wasn't perfect but there was a lot to like. When we discussed the houses later Brandon agreed. That house became our number one choice. We searched for additional houses to look at the next morning.
Ryan and the kids had a camp out Friday night.
Saturday morning Myca and I met up with her sister-in-laws and a few friends to do a 20 mile run. It was really early. We ran on the greenbelt that has a 25 mile bike and pedestrian path. It was cool outside and there were a lot more people out there than I thought there would be. I ran alone and did the 20 miles in 2 hours and 31 minutes.
Brandon went with Pat to look at more houses. When I finished running Myca and I went with Brandon and Pat to see the houses that he thought I'd like to see. We decided that we liked the one we had seen the day before on Coleen Ct. They had just lowered the price by several thousand dollars the day before. Eight other couples had also gone to the same house and a few were going to put offers in on the house. We decided to put an offer in on the house.

Brandon took care of the paperwork with Pat while I went with Myca to get my hair cut. I have been sick of my hair for a while. I told September to cut off enough to donate to Locks of Love and then to do what she wanted. I barely had enough time to get my hair done before rushing to the airport to catch a flight back home.

LOVE your hair. The house looks amazing, but that's a bit of a sore subject right now, so we'll talk about it more later. Still miss you...
