The Move

It was very clear early on that my father-in-law was having a very difficult time with the death of his wife. All of Brandon's sisters expressed concern regarding their father. Brandon and I were on a month to month lease. We were the most mobile and able to help. After some discussion we decided to ask Dennis if we could live with him for awhile. He agreed.

By the end of July we started packing up our stuff. Moving is totally lame. It is so much work. What added to the work load was that we had to move a bunch of stuff at Dennis's house too. We only had an apartment to move. I can't imagine packing up a three bedroom house. We found a storage unit for a lot of our stuff. We kept our bedroom furniture, coaches, and TV with us at the house.

Ryan came to visit for a few days. We went by Downtown Disney to get Mikkel a birthday present. Ryan also wanted to get something for the other kids. He sent all the boys swords and Hendrix a couple tiaras. He made us a few really delicious meals. I think cooking is a stress reliever for him (I could only wish it was for me too.) He went running with me too.

Unfortunately for him he came while we were in the process of packing. He helped us move our stuff. Brandon's buddy, Greg Linton, also came with a truck and a trailer to help us move. At Dennis's house a couple people from the ward saw us unloading and came to help. Talk about totally exhausting!
