Dinner with Ranes

My buddy, David Ranes, sent me text asking when we were going to get together for lunch or dinner. He lives in Studio City. I have known him for over 12 years. We met when he was serving a mission in Washington. He taught my best friend, Lindsay, a few discussions. He and I have stayed in good touch through the years. I was excited about his timing because Jared and Lindsay were in town and I thought it would be fun for us all to go to dinner together.

We went to Pei Wei for dinner on Thursday night. It had been almost two years since I had seen Ranes so it was great getting caught up. His passion is film making. He writes, produces, and who knows what else. He has some really exciting stuff going on. A few of his films are going into production. He also recently put an offer in on a house. It's always great spending time with Jared and Lindsay. They are so much fun. Their kids are so cute. Their stories are so entertaining. We were probably at the restaurant for two hours or more. The time flew by. I can't wait until we can do it again.
