Just Life

Had to work Monday. Tuesday morning I woke up early in the morning to take Pat and Mindy to the Long Beach Airport. While I was running at the gym I received a phone call from work that I had to go to the Long Beach Airport to be the non flying pilot for another pilots simulator check. I asked which instructor was handling the simulator. Of course, I was told it was the same instructor I had a bad time with earlier this Summer. I told the lady that I really didn't want to be involved because of the instructor but she told me I was the only one on reserve. I was suppose to be there by 10:00 am but due to an accident on the freeway I was late. Did I mention that the FAA was also sitting in on the simulator? They have been sitting in on so many training/checking events since the accident in Buffalo. Everything went fine but it never is enjoyable.


The week also included a trip to the eye doctor. I visited with my friend, Kelli Galovan (Walters) in Ladera Ranch. Had the Sister missionaries over for dinner. Ran a lot of errands. Brandon was called to be the 1st Counselor in the Young Men's program at church. Made homemade pizza (that was a first.) Washed all the cars. Stopped by the Cowdells to visit (they had a baby girl the next day!) Had dinner out with Brandon and Dennis Saturday and watched a movie with Brian and Becka. Went on a motorcycle ride with Brandon. Getting documents to the mortgage broker (so many documents!) Trying to get my blog updated (so many months behind!) Brandon is sick so I've been giving a lot of neck and back rubs as well as head and back scratches. Watched "So You Think You Can Dance", "Biggest Loser", "The Office", and "Castle". I've never followed the "Biggest Loser" before but I like it.
